Job Description:
.Experience in construction of new railway lines, doublings, gauge conversions etc.
· Experience in construction and maintenance of railway lines.
· experience in Civil works out of which he should have done construction of Railway Tracks including Track Linking
.He will work under the supervision of a P-Way Engineer. He will be responsible for the maintenance / Installation of track allotted to him by the seniors / Construction Manager.
.He is supposed to conduct regular inspections, foot plate inspection.
.Permanent way in railway parlance is the structure consisting of the rails, fasteners, sleepers and ballast, plus the underlying subgrade.
.Work of a PWS include supervision of work by his team, giving report of work done to P-Way Engineer / Construction Manager.
Education:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering (Transportation) with 5-6 years of Exp in railway infrastructure development projects
OR
ITI / Graduate/ H.S(Science Back Ground) with 8-10 years of Exp in railway
infrastructure development projects
